During the sickness of Muhammad PBUH, He ordered Abu Bakar Sadique R.A to lead them for prayer in Mosque of Prophet. In few days, our beloved Prophet passed from this materialistic world, the main issue was the selection of a Caliph. This matter is disputed among two main sects of Muslims i.e. Shiites and Sunni. Both have different faiths and narrations for eligibility of Caliphate. Shiites have another term known as Imam (Sacred Leader) who only be the progeny of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. In short, Abu Bakar Sadique r.a was selected as the first caliph of Muslims in Madina. While Hazrat Omar, Usman and Ali r.a. were second, third and fourth caliphs of Muslims respectively.
